Arnie and Ron Sachs Have Had a Front Row Seat for History

The Sachs Collection includes over 750,000 images of the most important events in modern history.

Arnie Sachs came to Washington, DC in 1950 as a press photographer covering the Truman White House. Since then, a member of the Sachs family has covered every U.S. Presidential administration.

Arnie Sachs was an award-winning photojournalist who photographed history at the White House, Capitol Hill, and in professional sports.

He may be best known for his iconic photo of future President Bill Clinton as a teenager meeting President John F. Kennedy. Arnie captured that famous moment where President Clinton decided he wanted to pursue the Presidency.

Arnie won the White House News Photographers Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001 before his death from cancer in 2006.

Today, Arnie's son, Ron Sachs is the President of Consolidated News Photos, an independent news picture agency in Washington, DC. Photos from The Sachs Collection appear to this day in publications all over the globe.

Ron is a regular at the White House, on Capitol Hill, and at any event making national news in Washington, DC.

In addition to regular news coverage, Ron has also been a leader among photojournalists.

Ron served four-terms as the President of the White House News Photographers Association and on the Standing Committee of Press Photographers in the United States Senate. In the 1992 campaign, he served as President George H. W. Bush's campaign photographer.

In addition, Ron prides himself on being a teacher to the next generation of White House News Photographers. He has educated and mentored many new faces in the White House Press Corps.

Arnie and Ron's photos make up The Sachs Collection. Their photos have appeared in numerous publications around the world for nearly a century including the Washington Post, New York Times, Time Magazine, Life Magazine, and countless others.

Masterclasses with Ron take place on a monthly basis in the evening Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Each masterclass will have time for Questions and Answers. As part of the Advanced or Premium memberships, you can also requests topics for Ron to discuss in the masterclass.

Basic plan subscribers will have access to the masterclass 24 hours after the live masterclass concludes.

How do the personalized coaching sessions with Ron Sachs work?

Premium Plan members get access to 1 30-minute coaching session per month as long as they are members. In your member portal, you will schedule time with Ron.

Every month, Ron will personally curate a photo set to share with you. Photos will be timed with yearly themes and holidays (ex. You may receive a photo of the President pardoning a Turkey for Thanksgiving) that you can use to display in your home or office. In addition, photo sets will be a mix of landmarks, political history, and current events.

They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words" and each of The Sachs Collection photos has a story. That's why, in addition to the set of photos, you will receive a file that discusses the story of each photo. This includes notes on the context, composition, and intent behind each photo.
